A alta umidade do ar, muito comum nas cavernas, pode se tornar uma barreira quase intranspon\u00edvel para um fot\u00f3grafo inexperiente, mas pode ser usado para criar efeitos visuais \u00fanicos quando o fot\u00f3grafo domina a sua arte.<\/p>\n

Estas fotografias resultaram em um livro de alto n\u00edvel em quatro l\u00ednguas (portugu\u00eas, ingl\u00eas, espanhol e franc\u00eas), lan\u00e7ado em 2017, v\u00eddeos curta-metragem do \u201cMaking Of\u201d do projeto e uma expedi\u00e7\u00e3o virtual de fotografias, que foi exibida no Museu das Minas e do Metal – MM Gerdau, em Belo Horizonte.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s o sucesso do Volume 1, decidimos fazer uma nova expedi\u00e7\u00e3o para o Centro-Oeste do Brasil para registrar as belas grutas do Mato Grosso do Sul e do Mato Grosso. A expedi\u00e7\u00e3o foi realizada em meados de 2019, e o segundo volume, tamb\u00e9m em quatro l\u00ednguas, foi lan\u00e7ado, no Brasil e na Fran\u00e7a, em 2021.<\/p>\n

Para complementar essa cole\u00e7\u00e3o maravilhosa de registros das nossas cavernas, decidimos visitar agora a Amaz\u00f4nia. Vamos fotografar cavernas em tr\u00eas litologias: arenito, calc\u00e1rio e min\u00e9rio de ferro, em dois estados: Amazonas e Par\u00e1.<\/p>\n

O objetivo principal do projeto Luzes na Escurid\u00e3o \u00e9 divulgar as maravilhosas cavernas brasileiras, seus tesouros e suas fragilidades, para gerar interesse pela importante causa da sua conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, pois acreditamos que s\u00f3 se preserva o que se conhece\u2026<\/p>\n

\nThe \u201cLights in the Darkness\u201d project arose from the idea of bringing some of the greatest cave photographers in the world to, together with Brazilian cave photographers, to record images of some of the most beautiful caves in Brazil.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nHigh air humidity, common in caves, can become an almost insurmountable barrier for an inexperienced photographer, but can be used to create unique visual effects, when the photographer masters his art.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThese photographs resulted in a high-level book released in 2017, edited in four languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish and French), short videos of the \u201cMaking Of\u201d of the project and a virtual expedition of photographs, which was exhibited at the \u201cMuseu das Minas e do Metal – MM Gerdau\u201d, in Belo Horizonte.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAfter the success of Volume 1, we decided to make a new expedition to the Midwest of Brazil to register the beautiful caves of Mato Grosso do Sul and Mato Grosso. The expedition took place in mid-2019, and the second volume, also in four languages, was released in Brazil and France in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo complement this wonderful collection of records from our caves, we decided to visit the Amazon. We are going to photograph caves in three lithologies: sandstone, limestone and iron ore, in two states: Amazonas and Par\u00e1.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main objective of the \u201cLigts in the Darkness\u201d project is to publicize the wonderful Brazilian caves, their treasures and their weaknesses, to generate interest in the important cause of their conservation, as we believe that only what is known can be preserved\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
